sorta.
according to a billboard story, the name is not about the new york noodle bar, but about Momofuku Ando, the inventor of the cup noodle.
although i was wrong about it being about the music industry...oh well. close enough.
i'd also like to note that it's awesome how dedicated this release is to vinyl. there's a free download, but it's not active until may 1st. so the physical music rules overall!
and now if you'll excuse me, i'm going to go listen to this physical release.
