I could either do a tribute to J Dilla on his birthday (today), or the anniversary of his untimely death (which would be this Sunday).
Let's go with the more positive, uplifting date.
I'm not about to claim to be any sort of authority on Jay Dee, but I do know that he was a great talent, and what I've heard of his work is nothing short of amazing.
